Bristol Legible City 2.0
Evolving a global design movement

Bristol Legible City (BLC) is a unique concept to improve peoples’ understanding and experience of the city through the implementation of identity, information and transportation projects.

BLC was developed to link together the diverse parts of the city with a flow of consistently designed information; to make attractions better known and easier to find; to provide the city with a clear and positive identity and reinforce the character of its individual neighbourhoods; and to encourage a shift towards public transport in line with Bristol’s Local Transport Plan and the government’s Integrated Transport Strategy.
